About

California Drought Relief Grant Program

This third year of drought in California is crippling the critical supply and service infrastructure farmers rely on to grow their crops and get them to market. These small businesses are economic drivers in local communities, providing employment and serving as an important tax base that supports schools and public safety. Without processors, haulers and service providers  growers will have challenges finding the support they need to grow, harvest and process their crops.

To help meet this need, the state of California has developed a first of its kind California Small Agricultural Business Drought Relief Grant Program. Designed for small ag businesses most impacted by the drought, it provides the opportunity for direct grants of $60,000 – $100,000.
